Overview
This n8n workflow automates the initial screening of resumes. It begins by receiving emails with attachments, identifying different file types (Word, PDF, Text), and then processing them.
For Word documents, it converts them to Google Docs and then to PDF for consistent processing. Resumes are uploaded to a designated Google Drive folder. The workflow then extracts text from the resume and downloads a predefined job description document.
Finally, an AI Recruiter Agent compares the extracted resume text against the job description, providing a detailed assessment including candidate strengths, weaknesses, risk/reward factors, and an overall fit rating. This significantly speeds up the initial hiring process.
