Automate Event Registration with Webhooks and Email Confirmations

This n8n workflow is designed to automate the entire event registration process, from receiving new sign-ups to sending out detailed confirmation emails. It begins with a webhook that listens for incoming event registrations. These registrations are then processed to extract and set essential event details, such as maximum capacity and event dates. A validation step ensures that crucial information like email and name are present and that the email format is correct. Following validation, a sophisticated code node generates unique registration IDs, calculates crucial reminder dates, compiles calendar event data, and creates access credentials for online events. Finally, a Gmail node sends a beautifully formatted HTML confirmation email to the registrant, including all event specifics, access information, and a direct link to add the event to their calendar. The workflow is designed for scalability and can be easily extended to include further actions like adding attendees to CRM systems or creating calendar events for organizers.
