/cart-abandonedwebhook URL when a cart is abandoned. - Sticky Note (Configuration Guide): Review and note the customizable settings within the 'Sticky Note' node for your recovery sequence.
- Recovery Settings: Configure your preferred discount percentages (
firstDiscount,secondDiscount,finalDiscount), thefromEmailaddress for your recovery emails, and your store'sbaseUrl. - Qualify Cart: Adjust the conditions in the 'Qualify Cart' node to define what constitutes a cart worth recovering (e.g., minimum cart value, ensuring a customer email exists).
- Generate Recovery Data: This node automatically generates unique discount codes and schedules for your recovery emails based on the 'Recovery Settings'. No manual configuration needed here, but review the generated data to understand the output.
- Wait Nodes (1 Hour & 23 Hours More): Set the duration for each email in your recovery sequence. The current setup sends the first email after 1 hour and the second after an additional 23 hours (totaling 24 hours after abandonment).
- Send Recovery Emails (Gmail Nodes): Customize the
subjectandmessagefor each email. Use the provided Handlebars syntax to dynamically insert customer data, cart items, discount codes, and the call-to-action link. Ensure your Gmail account is connected to n8n.
