This robust n8n workflow is your personal YouTube content curator, designed specifically for AI news enthusiasts and channel managers. It orchestrates a daily process: first, it fetches a list of your preferred AI news YouTube channels from a Google Sheet. Next, it queries the YouTube API to discover the latest videos published within the last 24 hours from each channel, filtering out any upcoming live streams. Simultaneously, it manages your playlists by optionally deleting yesterday's auto-generated playlist and then creating a brand new one for today, titled with the current date. Finally, all the newly discovered and filtered videos are seamlessly added to your fresh daily playlist, and the new playlist's ID is saved for future reference. This ensures a continuously updated, fresh compilation of AI news content with minimal manual effort.

How To Use
- Google Sheets Setup: Create a Google Sheet named "Media Links" with a sheet titled "AI News Channels". Within this sheet, create a column named "Channel Id" and populate it with the IDs of your desired YouTube channels. Ensure another column, "New Playlist ID", exists in a relevant sheet to store current playlist IDs.
- YouTube API Key: Obtain a YouTube Data API v3 key and replace the placeholder
"AddYourAPIKeyHere"in the "Get Videos" HTTP Request node's query parameters with your actual API key. - Google Sheets Credentials: Configure your Google Sheets OAuth2 API credentials within the "Read Channel Names" and "Save Playlist ID" nodes.
- YouTube Credentials: Configure your YouTube OAuth2 API credentials within the "Create Playlist", "Delete Old Playlist", and the final "YouTube" (Add Playlist Item) nodes.
- Initial Run (Important): For the very first run of this workflow, it is crucial to deactivate or remove the "Delete Old Playlist" node to prevent errors, as no previous playlist ID will have been saved yet. After the first successful run (which creates and saves the playlist ID), you can reactivate it.
- Scheduling: Set up a
CronorIntervaltrigger node (not included in this snippet) to run the workflow daily, ideally in the early morning, to ensure a fresh playlist is available each day.
