About This Workflow
This workflow monitors new contacts being saved in Mautic. It extracts contact information, validates the email address using an external service, and flags any emails deemed suspicious (e.g., poor deliverability, invalid domain, disposable). Suspicious contacts trigger an alert in Slack.

How To Use
- On Contact Identified: Configured to trigger on
mautic.lead_post_save_newevents from Mautic. Requires OAuth2 authentication with your Mautic instance. - If is not new contact: Checks if the trigger event is indeed a new contact. If not, the workflow stops.
- extract information: Processes the incoming Mautic contact data to make it more accessible for subsequent nodes.
- validate email: Uses the One Simple API to validate the extracted contact email address. Requires API credentials for One Simple.
- If the email is suspicious: Evaluates the validation results from the One Simple API. It checks if
deliverabilityis not 'GOOD', or ifis_domain_validis false, or ifis_email_disposableis true. If any of these conditions are met, it proceeds to the next step. - Send to Slack: If the email is deemed suspicious, this node sends a formatted message to a specified Slack channel (
#mautic-alerts) including contact details and a Mautic link. Requires Slack API credentials.
