How it works

This workflow automates the process of summarizing new Google Docs and storing the summaries in Google Sheets. It's triggered when a new file is created in a specified Google Drive folder.

Google Drive Trigger: Monitors a designated folder for new file creations.
Google Docs Node: Fetches the content of the newly created Google Doc.
OpenAI Node (Generate Summary AI): Takes the document content and uses an AI model (GPT-4O-MINI) to generate a concise summary.

How To Use

Google Drive Credentials: Ensure your Google Drive service account credentials are set up.

OpenAI Credentials: Provide your OpenAI API key.
Google Sheets Credentials: Set up your Google Sheets OAuth2 credentials.
Configure Google Drive Trigger: Specify the folder ID to watch for new files.
Configure Google Docs Node: The documentURL parameter is dynamically set by the trigger.
Configure OpenAI Node: The prompt Summarise the below content {{ $json.content }} uses the content from the Google Docs node.
