About This Workflow
How it works
This workflow automates the process of generating a daily summary of your incoming emails. It triggers every day at 7 AM, fetches all emails received in the last 24 hours from a specified Gmail account, organizes the essential data (sender, receiver, snippet), and then uses OpenAI's GPT-4o-mini model to summarize the content, identify key details, and extract action items. Finally, a styled HTML email containing the summary and action items is sent to a designated recipient list.

How To Use
- Schedule Trigger: Configure the 'Daily 7AM Trigger' node to set your preferred execution time.
- Gmail Credentials: Connect your Gmail account to the 'Fetch Emails - Past 24 Hours' and 'Send Summary - Morning' nodes. Ensure you have set up OAuth2 credentials.
- Email Fetching: The 'Fetch Emails - Past 24 Hours' node is pre-configured to query emails from
isb.quantana@quantana.inwithin the last 24 hours. Update the email address if needed. - OpenAI Credentials: Connect your OpenAI account to the 'Summarize Emails with OpenAI - Morning' node. You will need an API key.
- AI Prompt: Review and adjust the prompt in the 'Summarize Emails with OpenAI - Morning' node to fine-tune the summary format and requirements.
- Recipient Configuration: In the 'Send Summary - Morning' node, update the
sendToandccListfields with the email addresses of your intended recipients. - Activation: Enable the workflow to start receiving your automated daily email summaries.
