How To Use
- Prepare your Google Sheet: Create a Google Sheet with a column for RSS feed
Links. You'll also need columns forid,title,output,pubDate, andtagswhere the processed data will be stored. - Integrate Google Sheets Nodes (Not in snippet): Before the
Loop Over Items1node, add a Google SheetsReadnode to retrieve your RSSLinks. After theMarkdownnode, add a Google SheetsAppendorUpdatenode to save the processed news items. AfterLoop Over Items2, add a Google SheetsDelete Rownode usingrowNumberto clean up old entries. - Configure Schedule Trigger: Set the
Schedule Triggernode to your desired frequency (e.g., daily) to initiate the workflow. - Adjust Date Filter: In both
CodeandCode1nodes, locateconst setdays = 3;and modify the number3to change how many days' worth of news you want to keep. This value determines both what's saved and what's deleted. - Review Wait Nodes: The
Waitnodes (especiallyWait,Wait1,Wait2) are critical for API rate limiting with Google Sheets. Adjust theiramountparameters if you encounter rate limit issues or have a high volume of feeds/updates. A 2.5-second wait per item saved and 25 seconds per item deleted is currently set. - Activate and Monitor: Enable the workflow and monitor its execution to ensure data is being collected and managed correctly in your Google Sheet.
