How To Use
- Get journal reply (Telegram Trigger):
- Connect your Telegram Bot. If you don't have one, create it using BotFather in Telegram.
- Ensure the
updatesparameter includes "message".
- Parse message (Function Item):
- Update
BOT_USERNAMEwith your Telegram bot's username (e.g.,MyJournalBot). - Update
YOUR_USERNAMEwith your personal Telegram username. - Important: Your bot's initial message, to which you will reply, must contain the date in the format
SOME CUSTOM MESSAGE: YYYY-MM-DDfor proper date parsing. For example, your bot could send "Journal Prompt: 2023-10-27".
- Update
- Add entry to sheet (Google Sheets):
- Authenticate with your Google Account for Google Sheets.
- Replace
YOUR_SPREADSHEET_IDwith the actual ID of your Google Sheet. - Ensure your spreadsheet has at least two columns, for example, "Date" and "Entry", to receive the parsed data.
